ORIGIN VS is designed to meet the demands of modern indoor climbing, where long sessions and dynamic movements require a shoe capable of delivering immediate comfort and consistent performance.
The updated neutral shape allows for extended use without foot fatigue, making the ORIGIN VS suitable for those new to bouldering, as well as more experienced climbers seeking a comfortable solution for longer training sessions.
One of the main updates concerns the upper, now made entirely of microfibre for better sensitivity and precision.
This construction enables more direct contact with the surface, enhancing the perception of volumes and footholds typical of indoor climbing, without sacrificing comfort and adaptability during prolonged use.
The toe is covered in M50 rubber, a soft and elastic compound designed by SCARPA to ensure high friction and adaptability. The new laser-engraved toe patch further improves grip during toe hooking, providing greater control in the technical and dynamic movements typical of contemporary bouldering.
The full-length S72 rubber sole, also developed internally by SCARPA, provides optimal balance between softness, grip and support, performing effectively on indoor volumes and smaller footholds.
The classic tensioning system and single-strap closure ensure a practical and immediate fit, making the shoe easy to manage during gym sessions.
