SCARPA introduces the New HELIX: the evolution of a classic, with a new shape, refined materials–staying true to comfort and reliability.

A restyle that refreshes one of the most iconic models in SCARPA’s climbing range, preserving the relaxed and versatile approach that has made HELIX a benchmark for multi-pitch routes, trad climbing and long days on the wall.

Asolo, July 9, 2026SCARPA introduces the new HELIX and HELIX WOMAN, the latest evolution of one of the most popular families within the Relaxed Fit climbing range.

Designed for climbers who value versatility and durability, the new HELIX models reinterpret one of SCARPA’s most iconic climbing shoes through an updated shape, refreshed colours and enhanced build quality, while preserving the DNA that made them a trusted choice for long routes, multi-pitch climbs and trad adventures.

Classic Style Reborn

HELIX is designed for climbers who spend long days on the wall, providing dependable support for classic multi-pitch routes, trad climbs and guiding activities—situations where comfort becomes just as important as precision.

The updated flat and neutral last maintains a relaxed fit, while the sole construction provides excellent support, preventing foot fatigue even during extended use. The low-profile toe shape helps improve precision on footholds.

HELIX retains the traditional full-length lacing system, allowing precise adjustment throughout the shoe and enabling climbers to fine-tune the fit according to foot shape and intended use.

Durable materials for intensive use

The upper is made from 2 mm metal-free leather, paired with a suede footbed, and features a seamless toe construction designed to reduce pressure points and enhance overall foot comfort.

The updated construction preserves the robust and reliable character that has always defined the model, creating a climbing shoe built to accompany climbers season after season.

Support and precision for traditional climbing

The classic two-piece tensioning system improves foot wrapping and toe support, while the thermoplastic polymer midsole—the most supportive in SCARPA’s climbing line—provides outstanding stability. Completing the package is the proven 3.5 mm full-length Vibram® XS Edge sole.

This configuration makes HELIX particularly well suited to long routes and traditional climbing, where maintaining precision and support over time is essential.

From multi-pitch routes and guiding days to trad climbing and relaxed indoor sessions, HELIX continues to represent one of the most authentic expressions of classic climbing according to SCARPA.
