15 April 2025 – From 25 to 27 April, the breathtaking UNESCO-listed hills of Prosecco in Italy will host Nova Eroica Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills—the gravel cycling event by Eroica.
New for 2025 is the Epic Route. This ‘ultra’ course spans over 200 kilometres, designed for those seeking a challenging yet unforgettable cycling experience, exploring the roads and trails of the surrounding hills and Prealps. The ride will begin at dawn on Saturday and is limited to a maximum of 100 entrants.
The Nova Eroica format is simple; ride on the most scenic gravel roads in the region and enjoy the festival atmosphere, embracing the typical Eroica spirit that mixes sport, culture and camaraderie.
The event also offers three classic routes of 55 km, 90 km and 120 km, starting and finishing at the picturesque Borgoluce estate in Susegana.
- The Corto (55 km) is perfect for riders who want to savor the Eroica experience in a relaxed, social setting.
- The Medio (90 km) and Lungo (120 km) include timed sections, offering a competitive edge while tackling the ‘sparkling’ ascents of the Prosecco Hills.
Cyclists from 25 nations will take part across the four routes, reaffirming Nova Eroica’s appeal as a sporting and cultural event, and its role in boosting tourism in the region.
- Friday, April 25: A family-friendly day with guided tours, educational activities, workshops, and the Great Pig-nic—a barbecue among the vineyards (in partnership with Ferrarini). From 6:00 PM, enjoy live music and savour a sunset Negroni aperitif.
- Saturday, April 26:
- Throughout the day, various activities including yoga, farm experiences, guided Prosecco Superiore tastings, and talks on inclusive cycling, travel stories and the local area, featuring special guests like Marco Ballestracci, Giovanni Carraro and Team4All.
- From 6:00 PM, live concert by I Los Massadores, a dinner featuring local produce, and the unmissable giant spit roast.
