Registration is now open for two new NOVA Eroica 2025 events: Ivrea (September 13–14) and Istria – Truffle Tour (September 20–21). These brand-new events bring the spirit of Eroica to new territories, combining gravel riding with the discovery of landscapes, local flavors, and passionate communities. 20. May 2025 – Ride. Race. Relax. That’s the essence of NOVA Eroica in three words: an Eroica-style event designed to let you experience the magic of white roads on modern bikes, with a touch of competition and a strong sense of camaraderie.
Each NOVA Eroica event is not just a race—it’s an experience that blends sport, celebration, human connection, and love of the region. Each event is a tribute to the bicycle as a symbol of freedom and a bridge between people and places, built around the unique features of its landscape. From the white roads of Tuscany, to the Prosecco vineyards, the Gran Sasso mountains, the Mediterranean ambiance of Istria, and the rolling hills of Canavese.
The morainic amphitheater will host a NOVA Eroica stage for the first time, with three routes (45, 75, and 130 km) winding through white roads, hills, vineyards, and historic villages.
Starting and finishing in Piazza Castello, in Ivrea—a UNESCO World Heritage city—the entire surrounding area will be involved; each town along the route is a rest stop with events, tastings, cultural attractions, and local initiatives.
It’s much more than a race—it's a widespread festival where cycling meets culture, flavors, and community.
A new frontier for Eroica, in the heart of the Mediterranean. NOVA Eroica Istria debuts in Croatia with a stage filled with the scents of land and sea, along the historic Parenzana route from Cittanova (Novigrad) into the Istrian hinterland.
Grisignana (Grožnjan) – the city of artists, Montona (Motovun) – a picturesque medieval town, and other symbolic locations will welcome participants on three routes (60, 100, and 150 km), featuring timed segments for those who seek a challenge.
This event is also a journey through nature, history, and savoured flavors—like truffles, Istrian Malvasia wine, and Teran—and local hospitality.
The 2025 NOVA Eroica calendar traverses some of the most beautiful regions of Italy and Europe. Following the Prosecco Hills event (April 27), the upcoming dates are:
- June 7–8: Gran Sasso (Abruzzo)
- June 21–22: Buonconvento (Tuscany)
- September 13–14: Ivrea (Piedmont)
- September 20–21: Istria (Croatia)
